The closest thing I ever had to a recognizable spiritual experience was during Jesus Christ Superstar, on the stage in London. I was about 6 or 7 the first time I was taken to see it, in the West end. It was mum's favorite, even though she professed to be an atheist! I can listen and watch Jesus Christ Superstar over and over. Seems silly now, but I even thought I was an atheist too, turns out I had my hands over my eyes!
